We believe that all people have the right to live, shop and work in a way that protects their privacy.
We strive to create a supportive environment for people and organizations that value privacy or are unaware of privacy threats facing our online and offline ways of life.
The listing of our Core Values are in no particular order, because they are all equally important. We attempt to think about them with each decision we make and to help guide our overall path into the future.
An open marketpace helps us all - We support a balanced software marketplace by using tools that allow for programmatic and philosophic transparency.
Financial freedom is fundamental - We will financially support open sourced products by "donating when downloading" or otherwise ensuring that developers get paid for their work in an appropriate way.
Ethical software matters - We believe in making the effort to try open-sourced and ethically created software over closed commercial software, even for those that are established norms.
Privacy protection is a right - We operate under the paradigm that the public's rights are at least equal to ours and that "our need to know information" is always compatible with privacy rights.
Passion with compassion - We vow to be passionate about our cause while retaining compassion for those that have differing viewpoints or have not yet conceived of a new way forward.
